Did you know that the average family spends over 19 hours a week in their kitchen? This should not come as a surprise since families naturally gravitate to a warm place where they could gather together and share food. As a work at home dad, I know I do, and it could even be more than 19 hours since sometimes I do my work and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same time in our kitchen. It’s an odd habit but I have to do it especially when I have to finish an assignment and submit it pronto. The good thing about our kitchen is that it has become a place where we as a family share not only delicious home cooked meals but also our experiences during the day.
But lately, everyone seems to be looking for something new. At first I couldn’t put my finger on it until my youngest child came up to me and pointed out that our kitchen needed new lights. Then I knew it.
