Saved From Danger By GPS Tracking
I always found it weird that I have a “techie” dad. Most of my friends had pretty normal dads who were not really into technology and computers. The downside to having a dad like this is that he always checked out the things that I wanted him to buy. If he thinks that something is not worth it, he will never buy it for me even if I really want it.
But there was this one time when I was really thankful that my dad knew a lot about technology. The first time that I drove by myself, I got lost in a very unfamiliar place. I was going crazy because I did not know where I was. I was really afraid that something would happen to me. I tried calling my dad but he would not pick up his phone! I stayed in my car waiting for a miracle. After a few hours of waiting, I saw my dad’s car arrive. I nearly cried because I was really scared. I did not know that all of our cars have GPS tracking. This allowed my dad to find where the car was as that instant. Good thing he was a “Techie” dad or else I would have stayed there all night crying.
